The pain clinic staff consists entirely of a combination of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Most of the staff members have been working with Dr. Isaacson for many years. The staff members bring a diverse range of nursing experience to the clinic with backgrounds in specialties as varied as operating room, obstetrics, nursing home, medical-surgical, and hospice nursing. The common denominator among all of the pain clinic team members is their compassion and commitment to excellence in delivering patient care.
Jennifer Corson is the clinical coordinator for Dr. Isaacson’s pain management practice. Jen is an RN with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Jen relocated to Florida from Upstate NY and brings with her over 18 years of nursing experience ranging from pediatrics, geriatrics, and pain management.
Jennifer is knowledgeable in all aspects of pain management and is readily available to patients, physicians, case managers, and attorneys as a contact person/resource. She oversees the pain clinic nursing staff and the daily clinical operations of both offices in Fort Myers & Cape Coral.
Carol Mitnick, ARNP. Born in Syracuse New York, Carol grew up taking care of her dolls, everyone’s pets and her friends. She always wanted to be a Nurse and received her RN degree from Jackson Memorial Hospital school of Nursing and a Master’s of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medical College. She is happy to report that she still loves her job. When not working, Carol has many hobbies including mountain biking, swimming, and Pickle ball. She also loves to read and do embroidery. Carol is married and has 2 children, both of whom plan on being Nurse Practitioners. Her daughter just graduated from the University at Tampa as BSN. Her son, after proudly serving his county in the Marine Corp is in College in Jacksonville where he also plans to pursue a degree in nursing and later a degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Interestingly, her husband is also a Nurse Practitioner.
Christine Sanchez, ARNP. Ms. Sanchez completed a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at FGCU with honors. She is currently a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has a nursing background in cardiac and emergency nursing. She has been working as a nurse practitioner in pain management since 2010.
Originally from Philadelphia, she moved to Fort Myers in 1986, graduating from Cypress Lake High School. She is married with two children. She spends most her spare time at the ball fields watching her children play baseball and softball. She enjoys running, the beach, traveling and her pets.
